Joseph's teachers compliment his exemplary behavior in class. Mrs. Rix and Mrs. Schramp share that Joseph is engaged in class and participates in class, all with good humor. Mrs. Hirl agrees, saying Joseph is "eager to learn, in control of his emotions in an appropriate way at all times (he’s joyful and playful when we are doing joyful and playful activities; he’s serious and focused when we are learning; he’s prayerful when we are praying.) He joins in with other students in every activity."  Teachers and staff also agree that Joseph is humble, kind, respectful, and reverent, whether he is serving, lectoring, or even praying in the pews.

Rowan's teachers share that her academics are top-notch. Mrs. Schramp said that Rowan gives "well thought-out, detailed responses." She shows her desire to understand what we are learning about in Religion and History by asking some really great questions.

Coach Bartlett raved about Rowan's enthusiasm and her desire to reach out to others in PE and on the courts. In PE, Rowan "hyped up her team, she ran QB, she was the FIRST to give girls props, ya’ll – she was LOUD... Truly led her team. She bonded with people, formed new alliances and hung by her team's side when it didn’t go their way."

Way to be a wonderful leadering and show us how to 𝑭𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒏 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒔, Rowan! Congratulations on being our October Raven of the Month!

Olivia's teachers had such great things to say about her, sharing that she has all of the qualities that we look for in RAVENS: 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲-driven, 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬, 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜, 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐞 to Others, and 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 God.  Mrs. Tufte, among other teachers, shares how kind Olivia is to other students and how genuine and respectful she is to adults in the building.

Mrs. Schramp brought up how responsible Olivia is, taking ownership of her schoolwork: Olivia is very thorough with her assignments and seeks out feedback from her teachers and classmates; when she is absent she makes sure that she touches base with her teachers to get what she missed.

Olivia is also strong in her faith, and actively serves the Church, especially as an altar server for the parish at school Masses and Sunday Masses.  We couldn't think of a better student to kick off our Raven of the Month recognition! Congratulations on being the 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐎𝐌, Olivia!
